Northern Rock Launches New Personal Loan Rate: 5.7% 09/11/2005

Northern Rock is offering a 5.7 per cent Typical APR for branch, Internet or telephone applications.

Northern Rock is offering one of the best Unsecured Personal Loan rates around of 5.7% typical APR from this week.

However, the rate offered will depend on your credit rating.

Loans are available from £1,000 - £25,000 with a choice of terms ranging one to ten years.

Northern Rock is also offering a 20 per cent discount on payment protection policies - Loanprotect - available on all loan terms.

For a typical £5,000 loan over three years at 5.7% typical APR, the monthly repayment will be:

  • £151.19 without Loanprotect cover.


  • £164.97 with Loanprotect Gold cover
