APACS
APACS, The Association for Payment Clearing Services was set up in December 1985 to co-ordinate fraud prevention work amongst banks, police, retailers and credit card schemes. It is the umbrella body for the UK payments industry.

Fraud in Focus
Fraud in Focus provides a yearly source of information on the level of plastic card fraud in the UK. It reviews what is being done by the card issuing industries to prevent fraud and the use of new technology.

Card Watch – shopping with confidence
Details of Card Watch and APACS Plastic Fraud Prevention Forum (PFPF) can be found at www.cardwatch.org.uk a joint publication with the Home Office.
