Tips for using cash machines

Five simple tips to avoid cash machine theft and fraud
  • Always put your own safety first
  • If you notice anything unusual about the machine do not use it and report it to the bank immediately.
  • Stand close to the machine and shield the keypad to prevent others and hidden cameras from seeing it.
  • Be aware of strangers and ‘well meaning’ people – never accept offers of help.
